The CARY 49 SL underwent a complete refit in 2023, which included the following interventions: redoing the teak in the stern cockpit, restoring the hydraulic gangway, total repainting of the engines and engine room (including the lazarette), complete overhaul of the generator, complete overhaul of the electrical and hydraulic systems, replacement of the inverter and batteries.
