‘Sola’ is a particularly rare example of the Mayfly 16, a desirable “all wood” internal fit out which gives her the appearance and charm of a traditional classic launch whilst retaining the low maintenance benefits of a GRP hull. At first glance, she could easily be mistaken for a fully wooden boat.

Lovingly maintained by her current owner, a semi-retired professional boat builder, the quality of workmanship and care throughout is immediately evident. Her hull has recently been repainted in a soft grey which complements the varnished timberwork beautifully. Powered by a quiet 1.6kW electric motor, ‘Sola’ offers peaceful and effortless cruising, allowing you to glide through the water with minimal noise and disturbance. The owner advises that, at sensible cruising speeds, the boat will comfortably achieve a range of approximately 40km on a full charge. Charging can be carried out via a standard domestic 13 amp socket or through a marina shore power connection, making ownership both practical and straightforward.
