Sandström Basic 495 R
The Basic 495 R is the largest in the Basic series. Its low weight (290 kg) makes the boat easy to handle. It features a sturdy keel and is known for its course stability. The Basic 495 R is suitable for fishing due to its large deck area. For the same reason, it is fantastic for a cozy lunch on the water or even water sports activities.

The hull is built in clinker style and designed to plane at higher speeds. At the bow, there is a molded staircase for safe boarding. Here you will also find storage space for mooring lines, etc. The staircase also functions as a passenger seat and is equipped with grab handles. In the middle of the boat, there is a bench - also with grab handles. It is prepared for rowing, with a molded footrest in the floor and oarlocks mounted on the railings. The oars can be secured along the railings with the mounted clamps. Storage space for small necessities is available along the port/starboard side. A lockable bench aft provides ample space for a battery and tank. When closed, the bench serves as seating. Behind the bench, you will find the motor well and the service hatch used for through-bolted motors. The transom is equipped with a solid aluminum plate for motor mounting. A stainless steel bathing ladder is also mounted here, which can be used to get back on board if you swim or accidentally fall into the water. Mooring eyes are located at the bow and stern.

Warranty and Safety:
The boat is CE marked and comes with a 3-year warranty. The hull has 3 airtight compartments, as well as polyurethane foam under the bench, making it float even when filled with water (unsinkable). The floor is flat and non-slip.
