Really nice Agder 840 from 2010, with a strong and economical Yanmar 180 hp diesel engine with fixed axle. The engine has no timing belt that needs to be changed, and in combination with a fixed axle is as maintenance-free as it can be. The engine has run 960 hours (is still in use) and gives the boat a top speed of 21 knots, and a nice stable half-plane cruising speed at 16-17 knots holiday loaded. It is also very suitable for towing water skis. Last service at 945 hours.
The boat is built in strong Norwegian quality and has a fine interior with space for 2-3 people to sleep in the forward cabin, which can also be made into a seating group, 2 berths in the aft cabin, and possibly 1 on top of the aft cabin. There is a nice closed toilet room with good standing height in the forward cabin with sink and cupboard space. In the cockpit, there is plenty of room for 4-6 people to eat, and seating for approx. 12 people. The pantry is in the cockpit with a sink with hot/cold water, ceramic hob and good cupboard space. It has a practical canopy over the cockpit, which can be opened completely on sunny days, and at the same time provides good protection in bad weather.
Note the boat's width of 3.20 m, which gives it a better space ratio than similar boats of the same size, and lots of storage space.
The Agder shipyard is still active, so parts for the boat can be bought if they are missing.
