1997 Bayliner 3388 Flybridge – Do you dream of exploring the Danish waters and islands, Scandinavian coastlines, Swedish archipelago and fjords? This well-maintained Bayliner 3388 Flybridge from 1997 combines comfort, reliability and charm – opening the possibility of lots of adventure and floating holidays with family and friends.
INTERIOR AND COMFORT
Once on board, you are immediately tempted to go up to the ship's upper deck. This is where the sun and the view are enjoyed from the flybridge. A well-appointed flybridge where the captain sits centrally with the possibility of an additional 5-6 crews around him on the sofas. Here you can also sunbathe in peace and quiet and enjoy a cold refreshment.
Instrumentation on the flybridge is complete with engine instruments, chart plotter, bow thruster, windlass, etc. The entire flybridge has been reupholstered in 2023 and appears in beautiful light fabric.
The aft deck is well furnished with its size for social activities. The aft canopy can be opened in sections depending on weather. The bathing platform is also a natural part of the ship's area e.g. swim platform, grill etc. Cold/hot shower is available here.
Aft you will find access to the ship's two engines.
Mid ship is located a large salon with lots of light from all sides. The table in the middle and the sofa have room for the whole family. The sofa can be made into a sleeping area, and the table can be removed.
The complete pantry is in connection with the saloon, when you move down the ship.
3 x gas burner for cooking, oven, microwave, large refrigerator with freezer, etc.
In the centre of the boat – starboard side – there is a separate toilet room and separate shower room cabin.
At the very front of the boat is located a cabin with a large double bed for two adults.
In the middle of the ship (under the saloon) is a very large separate double bed and the possibility of closing off from the saloon. There is a private sink, mirror, cupboards and drawers.
In total, two adult couples or families with 2-3 children accommodate comfortably - also on longer trips and holidays.
TECHNIQUE
The ship is easily maneuverer with the twin fixed shaft Cummins engines. Harbour manoeuvres and docking are assisted by bow thrusters. The engines read 1440 hours only and remain very reliable. 2 x Cummins marine 4bta. Robust and fuel-efficient. Cruise 7-9 knots. 11 litters/hour total. Top speed cruise 14-16 knots
Electric windlasses bow anchor with 35-meter anchor chain. It’s controlled from both saloon, flybridge and foot switches in the bow (the anchor in the stern is manual and included including chain and anchor line)
While sailing, you can enjoy safe navigation with the Garmin chart plotter on the flybridge and the Ray marine plotter in the saloon.
Note thatinstrumentation and navigation is available on both the "helm and the flybridge cockpit".
CONDITION AND MAINTENANCE
The ship has only had 3 owners. We bought the ship back in 2022 and are now looking for new adventures. Everything on board appears well maintained and functional after its age.
Engines and technology are maintained by professionals. Replacement of wear parts always with original spare parts
The engines are newly serviced for the launch in 2026. The ship is bottom painted before launch, new sink everywhere, renovated shafts and screws - and appears really nice below the waterline.
The bottom was cleaned all the way down in 2023 and built up with 5 layers of primer, 3 X antifouling paint and from here cleaned and bottom painted at each launch
Engines always winterized and prepared with new filters and oil before launch season.
Here are just some of the improvements in recent years:
• 3 x Engine mount feet replaced 2024 (15.000 DKK) 2 extra follows.
• Diesel for pump changed s.b. engine 2025
• Impeller 2026
• V-belt 2023
• 3 X new batteries 2023 (Varta 12 v 105 ah)
• New starter on s.b engine 2023
• New Electric Toilet Pump 2024
• 2 x New Faucets 2023
• New large fridge with freezer 2024
• New Bluetooth radio 2023 connection iPad/smartphone (saloon and fly bridge)
• Rear canopy new windows 2024
• Flybridge new cushions and completely new cover 2024
• Bearings changed in both bearing trestles 2024 incl. new gaskets and grease line in the bow tube.
• Propellers and shafts refurbished and surface treated 2025
• The entire boat is professionally polished 2024 and parts water-sanded to bring back shine in gelcoat (DKK 22,000)
• New zinc anodes everywhere by 2026 - rudder, shafts, boat, bow thruster, trim flaps
• 2 x New Sea Valves (Brass) 2025
• Toilet hose lines and gaskets for toilet and holding tank replaced 2025
• New original electric anchor motor, as well as foot contracts for up/down replaced 2025
