The owners bought the boat in early 2023 and invested a lot to make it extra beautiful. But the distance to their home in Germany is too great and they make too little use of the boat. With regret, they have decided to sell it.

The Mermaid is very spacious and cleverly fully furnished with everything you need, and is for sale with continuation of the rental mooring in Lelystad. BEAUTIFUL LOCATION AT THE HEAD DOCK IN A STURDY HARBOUR WITH A VIEW OVER NATURE AND WATER.
There are two Mermaid boats, Mermaid 1 and Mermaid 2. The boats have a shared middle dock leading to the side entrance of the boat. Very nice and cleverly designed. The boats are mirror images of each other but otherwise laid out the same. The boat for sale is the most beautifully positioned freely on the outside.
The concrete bottom is very strong and requires no maintenance and/or cleaning and is very solid and calm on rough water.

The layout of the boat is very cleverly and cozily designed. A nice spacious living area with a kitchen block as a partition. And at the back, two spacious rooms. 1 bedroom with beds of 160 by 2 meters. The other room is the same and can also be made into a bedroom again. The current owners have made a luxury extra sitting/office room here. You enter the boat from the side. The terraces at the front have awnings. The view is impressive. The boats are built by the very experienced houseboat builder HT-Houseboats but exclusively designed by Beiler-Kreativ.
The boat may not be rented commercially but is fantastic for (long-term) recreational use. The boats can be used and/or inhabited all year round (winter-proof). (Registration for permanent residence is not possible). In May 2024, the front terrace of the houseboat was renewed. And in 2024-2025, the boat was made extra beautiful inside and on the terraces.

CE-D certified as a boat. The builder of these HT boats has many years of experience in building houseboats and floating hotel rooms. They have been active in the market since 2005. All houseboats meet the ISO standards Directive 2013/53 EU.
The construction with Ferrocement ensures that the boats are unsinkable because they are very sturdy and can therefore withstand weather and wind (and ice) for decades without maintenance. The skeleton construction is made of wood and insulated with polystyrene. The exterior is Scandinavian.
The interior is predominantly made of glass and wood.
They are anchored with a system of poles that have been lowered to the bottom of the waterway.
