Houseboat in the shape of a yacht. This means comfort and maintenance of a houseboat with the styling and sailing characteristics of a yacht.
Maintenance-free (house)boat with plenty of space and made of super strong material. Because the hull is made of HDPE, which has many advantages. Indestructible, minimal maintenance, no corrosion, no condensation, no antifouling, no anodes, no coating.
Currently, the final touches are being made to the design of this unique liveaboard yacht. In the renderings, you can see how the boat will look from the outside and inside. Delivery starting from 2024. The price is for ready-to-use and sailing condition. But another version is also possible.
This ship combines the comfort of a houseboat with the appearance of a yacht. The big advantage is that this living yacht will be welcome in any marina, even where houseboats are not.
Here, maximum living space has been created within the important dimensions of 15 x 5 meters and a headroom of 3.4 meters.
Fifty Fifty stands for half yacht, half houseboat. But also for 50 m2 of living space within the 50-foot ship length. Where all this living space is at least 220 cm high and filled with light due to the many windows. This also applies to the hallway, bathroom, and toilet. Truly the comfort of home.
The salon has glass all around, and with doors on both sides, there is a lot of contact with the water.
In the sunken full-size kitchen, there is a place for everything one would want at home. Large fridge-freezer combo and dishwasher and extra storage space under the salon floor.
The master bedroom has space for a 220×180 cm bed, a desk, and a large wardrobe. There is 270 degrees of glass all around, and private access to the aft platform/terrace.
In the bow, a guest cabin can be created that is hardly inferior to the master cabin, or a double cabin or twin cabin can be chosen.
With the straight walls, you can also place normal furniture. So, plenty of choices, and easy to change things around when desired.
Below deck, there is a technical space/storage/workshop of 20 m2, with a standing height of 170 cm. Something that is usually lacking in this size of ship, and is really a loss when living aboard.
This ship is, of course, very well insulated.
Prepared to sail fully electric. The well-designed underwater hull has a consumption of only 22 kW at 13 km/h. At the often maximum speed of 9 km/h, it will still be below 10 kW. With the standard battery pack, it can then sail for 7 hours. Many upgrades are possible.
With the dual engines and bow thruster combined with perfect visibility all around, this ship is very easy to maneuver.
It is possible to make the boat completely self-sufficient, so without shore power and water connection.
The hull is made of HDPE, which has many advantages. Indestructible, minimal maintenance, no corrosion, no condensation, no antifouling, no anodes, no coating.
