"SEA BREEZE" was carefully selected and professionally upgraded for long-range bluewater cruising, with approximately $70,000 invested over the past two years in maintenance, systems, and reliability improvements. Extensive records are included, including surveys, oil analysis reports, maintenance schedules, receipts, and documentation from previous ownership and professional installers.
Chosen specifically for its proven hull design, solid fiberglass construction, single-engine efficiency, and exceptional reliability, this yacht is a true offshore-capable cruiser with “great bones” and outstanding overall condition.
She is fully prepared for Pacific Northwest cruising today and was outfitted with extended cruising in mind. The electrical, solar, and battery systems were designed oversized to support future additions such as DC air conditioning, a watermaker, and dive compressor.
Turn-key, extensively documented, and ready for serious cruising.Call Listing Broker today to schedule a viewing!
I bought this boat intending to cruise the inside passage to Alaska for a year and then loop to Cabo San Lucas to spend another year before crossing the Panama Canal to do the Caribbean for a year enroute to New York. I bought 2 years ago because she was in excellent overall condition and had, as they say, "Great Bones" (and records). While she was ready for the trip on Day 1, I spent about $70,000 (with receipts and records) preparing for the 4 year voyage. I have my surveys and oil reports (from the previous owner as well) to further verify that she is 100% ready for bluewater cruising, as well as a series of records, recommended maintenance schedules and video tutorials from the previous owner (8 years), the Vicron Installer (LVS Distribution & Consulting LTD) and Gartside Marine Engines LTD. At the time of the purchase, I looked at hundreds of boats online and flew to see dozens in person. I was willing and able to spend more money to get a 'newer, nicer' yacht, but after a LOT of research, realized that nothing newer/nicer could be more reliable. The plan was to do a 5-year, 8,000 mile, 1,000 hour voyage with my newly born daughter before kindergarten started, and I determined that no other vessel would be more reliable, safe and efficient than this solid fiberglass TANK with a single engine. The only remaining items left to do are watermaker and dive compressor, which I would be doing now if I didn't have to cancel the trip. For the Pacific Northwest, she is 100% ready but, when I went to Mexico I planned to install a multi zone DC air conditioner to run off the solar/battery bank. The system is already oversized with the air conditioner upgrade in mind.*She gets 3-4 mpg (yes, miles per gallon) at 10 knots (11 mph) for a range of 1200 miles with a lot of fuel remaining.
