This sailing and well-maintained Bültjer Kotter is a special cutter yacht for lovers of traditional craftsmanship and comfortable (long-distance) sailing. This impressive ship was designed by and built at the renowned German shipyard of H. Bültjer. The yard is known for its high-quality shipbuilding and classic cutter lines. From 2001 to 2003, the yacht was restored and has been kept in top condition to this day. Annual renewals or upgrades have been carried out. During the restoration of the ship, both the hull, the bulwark, the deck, the superstructure, the beautiful completely new interior, and the rigging were worked on. And of course, all the technology such as the electrical systems, water systems, heating, hydraulic bow thruster, anchor winch, stabilizers, and so on.
Since that time, the Voordewind has always been cherished by the owner, and we are looking for someone to take over the baton. Annual regular maintenance and upgrades are to be carried out, just as the current owner has recently done to the engine, navigation systems, audio, network, rigging, and safety equipment.
The Voordewind is built as a fully-fledged cutter yacht with excellent characteristics for long journeys and staying on board. Thanks to its seaworthy hull, stable sailing behavior, and reliable construction, this ship is extremely suitable as a passage maker for long distances and extended stays at sea or inland waters.
