Comet 51 DH from 2002, one owner in excellent condition, the 51 DH is a project by A. Vallicelli characterized by the panoramic salon (that is bright and pleasant when inside) but designed also and above all to be enjoyed outside.
The hull is the same as the highly appreciated 51 Sport: a sleek hull with tight and performance-oriented lines.
Just analyze the numbers, 2.5 meters of immersion and 13,000 kg of weight, to understand its essence, and when you try it, you will be amazed at how agile and responsive it is with little wind.
However, with that deck and that cabin, you would never imagine it. External description: Without losing any of the comforts of a typical central cockpit, the Comet 51 DH is indeed designed and built to be enjoyed in warm and sunny climates.
Ample space for outdoor areas to enjoy, such as the two large sunbathing areas, but also a modern hull and sail plan, very high-performing and at the same time suitable for a minimal crew. At the stern, there is a small beach and a bathing ladder.
Internal Description:
The salon is spacious and correctly sized even in the longitudinal sense.
The dinette consists of a regular-shaped table and a “C” shaped sofa.
The positioning of the engine under the stairs has allowed for a wide and free walking area on a single level, with the possibility of placing two director's chairs in front of the sofa, effectively achieving 7/8 seats.
On the opposite side is the chart table: instead of the typical layout, a small table served by a double sofa has been preferred, achieving the dual purpose of also designating the area for “social” uses and obtaining, by lowering the table, a practical watch berth.
Overall, the salon is obviously panoramic but also airy and well-designed, aided by its proximity to the large kitchen. The windows are well made, all fixed, with large wooden frames. Towards the bow, there is a hallway that leads to a cabin with bunk beds, equipped with good walking space, a bathroom of good size, and the bow cabin, complete with “V” shaped beds that, when joined, form a large double bed.
Moving towards the stern, you encounter the kitchen, one of the best elements of the boat. Organized on two fronts, it is rich in both working space and storage, has two refrigerators (one vertical) and is well usable even by more people.
Beyond is the owner's apartment, consisting of a large cabin with a double bed and many wardrobes, and a dedicated bathroom, well finished and complete with a separate shower box.
