The “Luise” has been restored from the ground up in shipyard work. Drive, hull, deck, superstructure, and interior have been professionally overhauled:
Hull double carvel-planked, old polyester coating removed
Wood elements carefully refurbished and re-coated with epoxy
Mercedes OM 636 (45 HP, built in 1968) completely overhauled
Reverse gear (PRM) renewed
Steering, diesel and water tank replaced
New teak deck
Superstructure and interior newly crafted
All work was carried out with a focus on originality, seaworthiness, and durability.
