The Arksen 8 is designed and built at our waterside home in Itchenor, West Sussex, on the shores of Chichester Harbour, and it shows. This is the boat that launched our Discovery Series of premium adventure RIBs, and it was created to do one thing brilliantly: get you, your family and your kit further out on the water, in real comfort.

This is the Arksen 8 in base specification, and the reason it's priced at £96,900 ex. VAT. Power comes from a single Yamaha four-stroke 350 HP outboard, a simple, efficient, fed by a generous 495-litre fuel tank for long days and serious passages. Underneath sits our 24° deadrise deep-V hull, Category C rated and praised by Motor Boat & Yachting for its "outstanding sea manners" soft-riding in a seaway yet impressively stable at rest, whether you're anchored in a quiet bay or towing a wakeboarder off the back.

Because this is the base boat, the price is just the starting point, and the options list is where you make her your own. Popular additions include the canvas T-top with roof rack for SUPs and kit, radar and upgraded Garmin electronics, a wetbar with sink, upgraded audio, and twin-engine or joystick-control rigs for those who want them.
