DescriptionThe Westerly Fulmar is widely regarded as one of the finest yachts to emerge from the Westerly stable, combining excellent sailing performance with practical family cruising accommodation. Designed by the renowned Ed Dubois, the Fulmar has earned a loyal following amongst sailors seeking a capable and comfortable cruising yacht.

This particular example appears to have benefited from substantial recent investment and conscientious ownership. Since 2025 the vessel has seen numerous upgrades including a new Eberspächer heating system, replacement batteries, new alternator, renewed running rigging, professional sail servicing, and significant improvements to the heads and gas systems.

Accommodation is spacious and versatile, offering up to eight berths within a surprisingly comfortable interior for a yacht of this size.

The practical bilge keel configuration makes her particularly well suited to the varied cruising grounds of Scotland, providing the flexibility to explore drying harbours and anchorages inaccessible to many fin keel yachts.

The navigation inventory is extensive and includes radar, GPS, AIS receiver, chart plotting capability, autopilot, VHF DSC radio and comprehensive chart coverage for UK and near continental waters. The package is complemented by an inflatable dinghy and 4hp outboard.

Overall, this appears to be a well-maintained and thoughtfully upgraded Westerly Fulmar that offers an attractive combination of sailing performance, cruising comfort and practical ownership. She is likely to appeal to sailors seeking a proven cruising yacht ready for immediate use.
