Engine & Electrical: Up-to-date and Reliable
While many boats from this year still have their original engine, the "Blabber" was fitted in 2007 with a powerful and extremely reliable 55 hp Volvo Penta D2-55E diesel engine (indirectly cooled, fixed propeller shaft). The electrical system is also excellently prepared for long autonomous journeys:
Batteries: Completely renewed in 2025 (1x starter, 2x accessory).
Solar Power: 3 Victron Energy solar panels (totaling over 255W) effortlessly maintain your battery capacity.
Inverter & Charger: Mastervolt IVO Smart battery charger and a Victron inverter (12V to 220V).
Monitoring via the reliable Victron BMV-6025 battery monitor.
Ready for long journeys & off-grid anchoring!

Navigation & Equipment: Ready for Big Water
The "Blabber" is a dream for the demanding navigator. The equipment is very complete and professional:
Navigation: Raymarine E80 Chartplotter, Raymarine ST60+ Tridata (Log/Depth), Autohelm Wind & Compass.
Autopilot: Raymarine ST 7002 Smart Pilot with Seatalk system.
Safety & Communication: True Heading AIS CTRX Carbon+ (2012), Standard Horizon VHF radio with AIS reception (2012), and an ICOM IC-718 SSB receiver with pactor modem for global communication.
Anchoring: Heavy Rocna 20 kg anchor (2012) on chain with a Seawolf electric windlass.
Windpilot: a mechanical wind vane steering system that steers your sailboat into the wind. The biggest advantage is that the system works entirely without power, relieving your batteries. The harder it blows, the more steering force the vane provides. It maintains course without needing to steer manually. Ideal for longer trips.

Rigging & Extras
The ship is sloop rigged with a solid Selden mast and stainless steel wire rigging (replaced in 2012). The sail wardrobe consists of:
Roller mainsail
Doyle Genoa (2014) on Furlex roller system
Working jib & Storm jib
Gennaker including sock (for light winds)
5x Self-tailing winches

Additional included items: A Nissan 9.8 hp outboard motor (2014) for your dinghy, fenders, lines, and a cockpit table. The frames for a sprayhood and bimini are already present.

Extra point of attention: The teak deck shows clear signs of wear (including thinned teak and locally peeling sections) and needs restoration. This is a known point of attention for the boat and has been factored into the asking price.
