ATALANTA J returned to Dorr Lemmer in 2011 for a freshen up. Work completed includes:

ATALANTA J was built for Mr B E Ruys, a ship owner in Rotterdam, and was originally called SIROCCO. He visited Scheepwerf de Vlijt (a founding part of the Feadship organization) to see a friend’s yacht under construction and then ordered her, she was hull number 544. She was built between June 6 1957 and July 19 1958. She was the largest motor yacht launched in 1958.

She is an important part of Holland’s nautical heritage and her rebuild at Dorr Lemmer reflects and is loyal to this fact.
