The Pair of Twins 38 is a catamaran designed by Harm Veenema (Netherlands), with a flat hull developed with Professor Gerritsma (Delft testing basin), offering good performance upwind. Its Airex-PVC sandwich construction makes it unsinkable. The interior offers 5 sleeping places, a kitchen with a counter, and a spacious navigation area. It is powered by a VW turbo-diesel engine driving two retractable and separately maneuverable Z-Drives.

The owners tested the boat during a crossing of the Atlantic (Netherlands → Canary Islands → Azores → Spain → France), achieving good speeds even in light winds (often over 10 knots, peaking at 18 knots), thanks in particular to the spinnaker and the rollable Code 0. A 400 W solar installation ensures electrical autonomy. Its design (flat hulls, rudders protected by skegs) also makes it suitable for grounding.

This catamaran was their first boat; they are selling it today to move to a larger model in view of a longer family trip.
