This Sailing Tjalk is moored at an exceptionally attractive residential location in the historic heart of Schiedam, the Netherlands. Here you live on the water, surrounded by monumental façades, former warehouses, characteristic bridges and historic vessels. The Lange Haven is one of the most distinctive parts of the old town and still reflects Schiedam’s rich history as a port and distilling city. Thanks to her generous dimensions and characteristic hull shape, this Tjalk offers an abundance of living space.
The deckhouse, used as a living room, provides pleasant access to the outside, where you can enjoy the atmosphere and charm of the historic city centre. From the deckhouse, the aft cabin is accessible. Forwards are the master cabin and bathroom with massage shower, washbasin and toilet. Further forward is the spacious salon with a large open galley. The forepeak, now used for storage, is accessible from the salon through a watertight door.
An important advantage is the possibility for the buyer to take over the official rented residential mooring. After a purchase agreement has been concluded, the buyer must contact the municipality regarding the mooring. Municipal approval is required and additional conditions may apply.
