More about the Pieter Beeldsnijder stag sail schooner custom built refit

This Pieter Beeldsnijder stag sail schooner is in very good condition and has undergone many refits and improvements over the years. The ship combines a solid, seaworthy construction with a comfortable and practical execution, making it excellent for longer journeys and adventurous trips at sea. The robust appearance, good sailing characteristics, and well-maintained condition make this a ship for the experienced sailor who values reliability and character.

The spacious deck offers plenty of working and living space and is clearly laid out, with a practical arrangement that makes the ship manageable even with a small crew. The schooner rig offers clear advantages: the sail area is divided over multiple sails, which keeps the forces in the rig manageable and allows for clear execution of reefing and trimming. This makes the schooner not only characterful to sail, but also versatile and comfortable under various conditions.

Below deck, the schooner has a particularly practical layout. The wheelhouse offers shelter and a good overview while sailing, while the salon forms a pleasant central living space and connects to the galley. Additionally, there is a shower/toilet area and three cabins. The spacious owner's cabin is located in the bow and offers a quiet and comfortable private space. The combination of a thoughtful layout, sufficient accommodation, and the many executed refits makes this Pieter Beeldsnijder an attractive and versatile sailing schooner for longer stays on board.
