This Hanse 540e, Grey Goose 22, is a stylish, comfortable and well-performing family cruising yacht. The “e” in 540e stands for the epoxy-infused hull, a construction method that ensures a lighter, stiffer, and more stable yacht, with excellent durability and complete protection against osmosis. With her 16 feet of beam amidships, wide teak-laid decks, sleek cabin profile, electrically operated teak-laid bathing platform, transom garage, and enormous cockpit, Grey Goose 22 has the space and presence of a much larger yacht. The hull and superstructure are spray-painted in dark grey, though she would benefit from a fresh repaint to restore her full glory. She is very well equipped with a slab reefing main sail, lazy bag and lazy jacks, self-tacking jib, genoa, gennaker, Code 0, spinnaker, storm jib, and electric winches. She furthermore comes with an exhaustive B&G navigation pack (all new 2025), generator, 110hp diesel engine, bow thruster, dinghy with outboard engine, etc. Worth mentioning are the eye-catching tailor-made sunbeds on the fore and aft deck, and the comfortable cushions in the cockpit.Below deck, Grey Goose 22 offers a modern airy interior finished in satin American Cherry joinery, anthracite Corian countertops, generous headroom, and ample storage. For onboard comfort, she is fitted with an air-conditioning system, dishwasher, and a washing machine. Accommodation is for up to six guests in three spacious cabins. The forward master suite and port aft guest cabin both feature ensuite bathrooms. The original ensuite bathroom in the starboard aft cabin has been smartly transformed into a pantry and storage space—a highly practical solution for extended cruising. If you are looking for an easy-to-handle, comfortable, and powerful family cruiser with good sailing capacities then this might be the one for you.
