Are you familiar with Salona boats? If not, it might be time to get acquainted. The Salona shipyard is located near Split in Croatia and can be regarded as Croatia's answer to an X-Yacht. The yard builds truly excellent boats, where performance and build quality are at a high level. Salona, like a few other brands, has successfully created a hybrid = Performance Cruiser that performs exceptionally well as a fast cruising boat and can also hold its own on the racing circuit. The Salona 40 was designed by J&J Design in 2002, which has sketched many well-sailing boats.

S/Y Ohana is now seeking a new crew, as her current one isn’t sailing enough. She has had only 3 owners: one Swedish and two Danish. This means she has never been part of a charter fleet or exposed to the very salty water and strong sun of Southern Europe. The boat's hull boasts a beautiful dark blue color. The hull maintains a lovely sheen as it has been painted with the renowned AwlGrip boat/aircraft paint. You will be very pleased with this when it comes time for spring commissioning! Boat owners with a blue gelcoat will look at you with envious eyes while they sweat over their polishing machines.

Let’s take a look below; there is space for 8 overnight guests, distributed across 2 aft cabins, 1 fore cabin, and 2 sleeping places in the salon. Decorated in classic maritime colors that enhance the cozy atmosphere. The salon features a seating area, L-shaped galley, and navigation station. A large bathroom is located at the front of the salon on the port side. Below deck, the boat is equipped with all the comfort features expected of a modern vessel, including an oil heater, hot/cold pressurized water, gas stove/burner, and much more.

Now it's time to sail, so let’s head to the cockpit. Equipped with large self-tailing winches and a massive carbon wheel where you as helmsman really have control of the boat. Plenty of cockpit benches provide space for gear storage. A large swim platform that is both practical and enhances safety onboard.
