We are now offering this fine Bavaria 32 from the year 2002. It is a lovely and unusually well-built model. Here, everything feels modern and up-to-date, as it always does in a Bavaria.
The Bavaria 32 has been built in countless examples, and here everything functions appropriately and safely. It's value for money, focusing on thoughtful functionality. She is built with good quality that remains nice year after year, presenting herself as a truly attractive and presentable boat.
She sails under the fine name: "Dagny"
Dagny is in the model also known as "Bavaria 32-2". This means the version with two cabins, a large toilet and shower room, as well as a very large and deep storage locker on the starboard side.
Note that the length of a Bavaria 32 like "Dagny" is 10.29 meters. This corresponds to nearly 34 feet.
LAYOUT AND COMFORT Dagny offers really good space everywhere, considering the length of the vessel. Here, two adult couples can sail comfortably.
There is really nice headroom for most people throughout the boat - and all of the boat's berths are of full adult length - even when two extra sleeping places are set up in the salon.
She is traditionally laid out with a navigation/work area on the starboard side and a galley with a large angled table on the port side.
The toilet is located on the starboard side right by the entrance from the cockpit and is truly pleasant. There is plenty of space here, along with a closed cabinet for sailing gear.
In all rooms, there are cabinets at eye level - which is really practical - there are a total of 26 such cabinets on board, plus what larger cabinets exist. On a Bavaria 32, everything has its fixed place, which is quite excellent and something one truly comes to appreciate! No one does it better than Bavaria.
TECHNICAL DETAILS "Dagny" is equipped with a solid Volvo Penta MD2020 engine with saildrive. All technology and electronics are in good working order. The autopilot and its display from Raymarine are relatively new. A really nice detail and an important upgrade for the boat.
CONDITION AND MAINTENANCE It’s clear that the owners have taken great joy in her care. There is absolutely nothing in either the interior or exterior that needs renovation. Everywhere on the boat, all surfaces are very clean, white, and nice without damage.
Below the waterline, she has been regularly maintained and bottom painted every year - she has always been stored on land and stripped down during winter.
The sail wardrobe isn’t new. The genoa is from 2007 and the mainsail is still original. Both are usable and reasonably nice.
On the other hand, both lazy bag, sprayhood, cockpit tent, as well as frames for the cockpit tent are completely new from 2025. This is very nice and an excellent upgrade for the vessel.
Note that there has been a change to a high cockpit tent. This provides an entirely different experience than what you get with the original tent.
Under this tent there is now really good space, allowing for an unobstructed view from the cockpit through completely clear windows.
BOAT HISTORY The vessel is close to being a one-owner boat. The current owner couple purchased her back in 2004 and have taken very good care of her. She is sold solely because it’s now time for them to go ashore after many wonderful experiences on the water.
"Dagny" has only sailed here in Denmark in coastal waters since 2004. For the most part, it has been rather short trips in good weather, as expressed by her owners.
A boat that has never been pushed hard or raced. Therefore, due to good maintenance and solid construction, she has many good years ahead.
