Introducing the s.v. Solstice, a beautifully crafted 1966 Custom Allen MacKay Schooner, measuring an impressive 53 feet overall. This classic vessel features a sturdy wooden hull with a full keel, designed for displacement sailing, ensuring stability and grace on the water. Powered by a reliable 80 hp Leyland Intercepter diesel engine, it offers a cruising speed of 6 knots, with a maximum hull speed of 8 knots, making it an excellent choice for leisurely voyages. The interior boasts two comfortable cabins and a well-appointed head, providing ample space for relaxation. With a seating capacity for up to 8, the s.v. Solstice is perfect for entertaining friends and family. Equipped with an electric windlass, this schooner combines traditional charm with modern convenience, making it a delightful option for those seeking adventure on our local waters. Experience the allure of sailing with the s.v. Solstice, where timeless design meets exceptional performance. She is currently owned by her original builder, in my opinion an artist and gifted craftsman as proven by many boat show awards.
