The Arksen 55 was designed by Jarkko Jämsén (Aivan), and engineered by Arksen. Built in Finland by Kewatec, builder of high-performance professional vessels.

She belongs to our Adventure Series, part vessel and part basecamp, and was created to reach remote coastlines and stay there, off-grid, for as long as the journey demands.

This is the Arksen 55 in First Edition specification, priced at EUR 1,999,000. Power comes from four Yamaha F450 XTO outboards, 1,800 hp in total, fed by a 3,200-litre fuel tank for a target range of around 350 nautical miles at 25 to 30 knots, with a projected sprint of around 50 knots at light load. Underneath sits a double-stepped deep-V hull in marine-grade aluminium, ISO Category B rated, with integrated fenders running her full length and a shallow draft that opens up the inlets and narrow passages other boats avoid.

Inside, a full-beam pilothouse brings navigation and dining together on the main deck, while dual side walkways and a four-door layout keep crew moving without disturbing anyone in the raised saloon. She sleeps four to eight, with a forward king cabin and ensuite, an aft cabin with two singles, and a day head and shower beside a lower-deck galley and workshop with washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The beach-landing bow ramp puts you straight onto the shore, and the roof crane and utility rack carry the paddle boards and bikes. From there, the options let you shape her to the trip. You can choose fishing, lounge or expedition aft deck packages, a second galley in the pilothouse, a split aft cabin, Nordic Light or Nordic Dark interiors, and roof upgrades from a sliding skylight to solar panels or a roof tent.
