'Tailormade' is a 56' 6" traditional stern Narrowboat, built in 1999 by G J Reeves and professionally fitted out by Aynho Wharf Boat Builders in 2000. Presented in a practical forward layout, she offers comfortable and well-planned accommodation, making her equally suited to extended cruising, holidays or life afloat. Accommodation begins aft with a fixed double berth in the master cabin, followed by a bathroom incorporating a pump-out toilet. Moving forward, there is a useful utility area fitted with a full length wardrobe and washing machine, and a well-equipped walkthrough galley, leading into the spacious forward saloon. The saloon features a freestanding sofa bed and cosy fairy lights, creating a warm and sociable living space with plenty of room to relax and entertain. Propulsion is provided by a Yanmar Barrus Shire 44hp four-cylinder diesel engine, coupled to a PRM 150 hydraulic gearbox. Cabin heating is provided by an Eberspächer D4WSC 4kW diesel boiler, supplying radiators throughout the boat, complemented by a Morso Squirrel 4.5kW multifuel stove. Hot water is supplied via the engine calorifier and Eberspächer boiler. The boat is equipped with both 240V shore power and 12V domestic electrics, providing the convenience and flexibility required for comfortable cruising and longer stays aboard. At 56' 6", 'Tailormade' offers a versatile cruising length, providing ample accommodation while remaining well suited to exploring the UK's extensive inland waterways network.
