1984 Whal 52 Tri-Cabin Motoryacht – THUNDER I Turnkey Charter Business & Liveaboard Cruiser

Calibre Yacht Sales is pleased to present THUNDER I, a rare, fully operational charter business and exceptional liveaboard vessel on the BC coast. This classic 52 ft Wahl-built wooden trawler has been lovingly maintained and successfully operated by the same husband-and-wife team for over 20 years. She is a veteran of more than 40 passages to Alaska and is currently certified for 6 berthed passengers + 2 crew. Perfectly set up as a sport-fishing boat, whale-watching platform, kayak mother ship, off-grid camp boat, or floating outpost for adventure tourism. She also makes an outstanding full-time liveaboard. Immaculately maintained with zero shortcuts — every bolt has been cared for. The vessel is in showroom condition and comes with $12,500 in spare parts for the operation of the yacht, plus complete maintenance records. Powered by a reliable single Volvo Penta MD100B diesel, she cruises comfortably at 7.5 knots burning only 3.5 GPH. The high-ranking website generates consistent cold calls and has produced $250,000 annual revenue operating June through September. Prime moorage arrangements in Discovery Harbour (winter) and Prince Rupert (summer fishing operations) are included. The current owners are willing to work closely with the buyer to ensure a smooth transfer of the business and all certifications. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a couple or small operator looking to step into a proven, revenue-generating adventure tourism business on the BC coast.
