DescriptionOrigin Yachts presents: Trader 475 Signature “Calypso”
1998 | Twin Sabre Perkins M225Ti | 4 Cabins | Coded Cat 4/2 (14 Persons) | Generator | Poole

Origin Yachts are proud to present “Calypso”, a Trader 475 Signature, a classic long-range motor yacht renowned for her robust build quality, spacious layout, and exceptional sea-keeping. Designed with a galley-up configuration, she offers a highly sociable and practical living space, ideal for extended cruising or commercial use.

Powered by twin Sabre Perkins M225Ti diesel engines (225HP each) on shaft drives, she delivers dependable and economical performance, cruising comfortably at displacement speeds with a top speed of approximately 14 knots.

This particular example benefits from a rare 4-cabin layout accommodating 7 berths, offering excellent flexibility for family cruising or charter potential. The interior is finished in traditional solid teak joinery, creating a warm and inviting onboard atmosphere.

“Calypso” is currently coded for up to 14 persons (Category 4/2), with coding recently renewed, and can be offered with a full inventory of safety equipment—presenting a turnkey opportunity for commercial use.
She has also recently been lifted out of the water for a structural survey and annual maintenance, providing additional reassurance for her next owner.
