It is a practical and sociable arrangement, with plenty of space and storage for family cruising or longer periods aboard. The Dufour 430 was designed by Umberto Felci and is an enjoyable boat to sail. The chined hull provides good stability, while the large single rudder gives plenty of grip and a positive feel at the helm. She accelerates well, stays nicely balanced as the breeze builds and is comfortable on passage. At low speeds, the rudder picks up steerage quickly and the retractable bow thruster is a real benefit when manoeuvring in a marina.Helios has been carefully maintained by her original owner and is a very good example of this well-regarded cruising yacht. She is available to view in Swanwick seven days a week by appointment.
