A very well-sorted example of the Dufour 40 Performance, extensively upgraded between 2022 and 2026 for fast cruising, offshore sailing and occasional racing. This yacht stands out for the scale and recency of the work carried out. Major structural, rigging, sail, electronics, electrical, plumbing, anchoring and deck systems have all been addressed, resulting in a highly developed and ready-to-use performance cruiser. The keel box was rebuilt in 2022, standing rigging replaced in 2022 and the running rigging progressively renewed in Dyneema between 2022 and 2024. The sail wardrobe has also been substantially upgraded, with recent Technora and carbon-aramid sails, Code Zero, A2 asymmetric and a Unibow bowsprit.Navigation and performance instrumentation are based around a modern B&G package including Zeus³S chartplotter, Triton² displays, Hercules sailing processor, NAC-3 autopilot, Precision-9 compass, AIS-equipped VHF and wireless handset. For cruising, the yacht benefits from lithium domestic batteries, Victron charging and monitoring, solar generation and extensive updates to pumps, plumbing and electrical systems.A 12,000 BTU 12V marine air-conditioning system was installed in August 2026, serving the forward cabin and saloon to improve comfort during summer evenings and overnight stays.Fast, responsive and rewarding to sail, while remaining practical and comfortable for Mediterranean cruising, this is a particularly well-equipped Dufour 40 Performance with a very substantial recent refit history.---Key Upgrades and Refit HistoryStructural, Hull, Deck & Safety- Keel box rebuilt — 2022- Anchor locker refinished — 2022- All through-hull fittings replaced with Lloyd's-certified composite fittings — 2023- Arimar 10-person liferaft — 2023- Deck refinished with anti-slip coating — 2025- Life-line fittings replaced — 2025- Stanchion mounts replaced — 2025Rigging & Sail Handling- Complete stainless-steel standing rigging — 2022- Running rigging progressively renewed in Dyneema by English Braids / Gottifredi — 2022–2024- New lazy jacks and stack pack — 2022- Unibow bowsprit — 2023 - Dedicated asymmetric-spinnaker attachment point - Dedicated Code Zero attachment point - Offset anchor bow roller - Stainless-steel anti-chafe platePerformance Sail Wardrobe- 105% aramid Technora jib — 2023- Aramid Technora mainsail — 2023- 130% carbon-aramid genoa — 2024- Carbon-aramid Code Zero — 2024 - Ubi Maior continuous furler- A2 asymmetric spinnaker — 2024Navigation, Instruments & Autopilot- 4 × B&G Triton² digital displays — 2023- B&G Zeus³S chartplotter — 2023- B&G Hercules sailing processor — 2024- B&G WS310 wind sensor / anemometer — 2023- B&G DST810 depth / speed / temperature transducer — 2023- B&G NAC-3 autopilot computer — 2023- B&G Precision-9 electronic compass — 2023- B&G RF-25 rudder-feedback unit — 2023- B&G WR-10 wireless autopilot remote — 2023- Dedicated autopilot control keypad — 2023- B&G V60-B VHF with AIS transmitter — 2023- B&G H60 wireless VHF handset — 2023- Yacht Devices USB-to-NMEA gateway — 2024- Scanstrut helm instrument pod — 2024- Integrated wireless phone charger — 2024Electrical, Charging & Energy Systems- New 60Ah engine starting battery — 2024- 2 × 100Ah LiFePO₄ domestic batteries — 2025- Victron DC-DC charger — 2025- Victron battery-monitoring shunt with digital display — 2025- Solar charge controller- Custom 95W solar panel — 2025- Alternator refurbished — 2025Comfort & Interior- 12,000 BTU 12V marine air-conditioning — August 2026 - Serves forward cabin and saloon - Intended primarily for evening and overnight summer comfort- Six additional USB charging outlets — 2024- Cabin lighting fixtures replaced — 2024- Integrated USB charging outlets- Bimini- SprayhoodFresh Water, Hot Water & Pumping Systems- Fresh-water pump replaced — 2024- Calorifier / hot-water cylinder replaced — 2024- Second internal manual bilge pump installed — 2024- External manual bilge pump replaced — 2024- Internal electric bilge pump replaced — 2024 - Automatic water sensor - Push-button reset circuit protection - Manual override- Shower gulper pump replaced — 2024 - Also configured for emergency bilge pumpingAnchoring- Anchor locker refinished — 2022- 1,500W Quick electric anchor windlass — 2022 - Cockpit control - Chain counter- Delta anchor — 2024- 10 m stainless-steel chain — 2024- 40 m anchor rode — 2024- Unibow offset anchor roller and stainless-steel anti-chafe arrangement — 2023---Racing InventoryA separate racing inventory is not included in the advertised sale price but is available by separate negotiation.
