This isn't your typical 1981 build. Laid up and left dormant for over two decades, this Bruce Roberts Offshore 45 wasn't launched until 2004, and wasn't truly finished — mast stepped, sails bent on — until 2009/10. What followed was a decade of offshore cruising, and in the last two years, a comprehensive re-equip that's brought her fully up to modern bluewater standard.
The result: a proven, go-anywhere cutter with classic Bruce Roberts lines, a protected centre cockpit, and the kind of directional stability and heavy-weather manners that only a full keel design delivers. With modern systems and thoughtful cruising upgrades. Including NEW RIGGING 2024/25; NEW RUNING RIGGING 2025; NEW SPRAY HOOD BIMINI with sides; DEC 2024; NEW SEA PRO WATER-MAKER 2025; NEW ZAR MINI DINGHY 2025; MODIFIED SOLAR ARCH 2024; NEW RAY MARINE AXIOM CHART PLOTTER; TRI-DATA & AUTO PILOT 2024; NEW UPHOLSTERY 2025, NEW HEADLINING 2025; NEW STEERING CABLES & CONDUIT.
For a buyer dreaming of an Atlantic crossing, a Caribbean season, or a comfortable, capable liveaboard, the expensive, unglamorous work — rigging, water, navigation — is already done.
Already in Grenada. For buyers planning to cruise the Caribbean, this saves a costly and time-consuming delivery passage from the US or Europe. Step aboard, provision, and go.
Sold only due to a change in circumstances. Viewing highly recommended through our Grenada office.
