The beauty of the Seadeck 7 lies not only in the design of the exterior and interior elements that combine to best express the essence of Azimut. Its beauty also consists in the discovery of technological advancements and special components that contribute to making it truly unique and highly innovative. Seadeck is, in fact, the world's first family yacht series to be equipped with Volvo's new hybrid-electric pod propulsion system. The new propulsion system, in synergy with the optimizations from bow to stern made by the shipyard, offers unparalleled efficiency. In an average year of use by an environmentally conscious owner, it is possible to achieve a 40% reduction in CO2 emissions. At the same time, guests can enjoy an immersive sea experience, with reduced engine noise and vibrations for quiet or completely silent navigation, not only at anchor, using the battery to power onboard services, but also for short trips in fully electric mode. A battery pack can support the yacht's onboard load for up to 4 hours during the day and up to 8 hours at night. You can fully enjoy the superyacht experience without the noise, vibrations, and emissions from generators, making daytime activities more enjoyable and nighttime relaxation more peaceful. When ECO mode is active, the system automatically maximizes battery life by adjusting onboard loads to optimize consumption.

The collaboration between NAMES and Azimut's R&D department pushes the boundaries of innovation, designing custom hulls for each series with the most sophisticated methodology in the industry. Compared to standard planing hulls optimized for pod propulsion, the hull of the Seadeck 7 is wider at the stern and more tapered at the bow, allowing it to start planing and thus reduce resistance at lower speeds. This advanced solution expands the speed range at which the Seadeck 7 can navigate with maximum efficiency.

Azimut's pioneering use of carbon fiber goes beyond pure performance. For the first time ever, up to 40% of the surface of the Seadeck 7 is laminated with carbon fiber, which lightens those parts by up to 30%, allowing for unprecedented optimization of consumption and CO2 emissions.

The Seadeck 7 features several eco-sustainable and innovative innovations. Among the possible solutions, one can opt for flooring made entirely of cork, discarded fishing nets for the internal carpets, recycled UV polyester Libeccio fabric for the outdoor cushions, and much more. For the first time, Azimut has committed to using PET instead of PVC, reducing the amount of virgin plastic needed. PET, a recycled material sourced from plastic bottles, makes up 30% of the total structure of Seadeck yachts. It is used to create all the bulkheads, floors, and 75% of the internal deck, equivalent to recycling 16,100 plastic bottles for each vessel produced.

Constant investment in research and the implementation of advanced technologies and sustainable materials has allowed the Seadeck series to be the first from the shipyard to obtain the RINA GREEN PLUS PLATINUM class certification for its environmental performance, even in its standard configuration.
