This beautifully preserved Chris‑Craft 19' Special Utility represents one of the final examples of the company’s pre‑war mahogany craftsmanship, a rare survivor from the transitional years when Chris‑Craft shifted from civilian pleasure craft to wartime production. Built to the 1943 design specification, this model is the direct predecessor to the celebrated post‑war Sportsman line, sharing the same open‑cockpit layout, elegant sheer, and unmistakable Chris‑Craft character.

Surviving examples of the 19' Special Utility are exceptionally scarce, particularly those retaining documented provenance from the early 1940s. A boat from this period offers collectors and enthusiasts a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine piece of Chris‑Craft heritage. A craft that bridges the company’s golden pre‑war era with the iconic Sportsman models that followed.
