**2009 COMAR COMET 45S — CARBON RIG | GENERATOR 59 H | A/C | PERFORMANCE CRUISER**

A highly specified **2009 Comar Comet 45S**, combining genuine performance sailing characteristics with the comfort and equipment required for extended Mediterranean cruising.

Designed as a fast performance cruiser rather than a pure racing yacht, the Comet 45S offers an excellent balance between sailing ability, sophisticated construction and comfortable accommodation.

Powered by a **60 HP diesel engine with approximately 1,500 engine hours**.

### Extensive Carbon Equipment

A major highlight of this yacht is her extensive use of carbon components, including:

* Carbon mast
* Carbon boom
* Carbon rudders
* Carbon gangway

This equipment reduces weight while improving sailing performance and gives the Comet 45S a specification rarely found at this price level.

### Comfort & Autonomy

Despite her performance credentials, this yacht is well equipped for comfortable cruising.

Equipment includes:

* **Lombardini generator — only approx. 59 hours**
* Air conditioning
* Folding propeller
* Comprehensive onboard electrical systems

The combination of generator and air conditioning makes her particularly suitable for Mediterranean cruising and extended periods aboard.

### Accommodation

The practical interior configuration offers:

* 3 cabins
* 2 heads
* Up to 8 berths
* Spacious saloon
* Fully equipped galley
* Generous storage

The 3-cabin layout provides an excellent balance between guest accommodation and private cruising comfort.

### Sailing Performance

The Comet 45S is designed for owners who want considerably more sailing performance than a conventional cruising yacht without sacrificing onboard comfort.

Her carbon rig, lightweight equipment and performance hull make her particularly attractive for sailors looking for a yacht capable of both fast passages and comfortable cruising.
