The original 38 was a very successful design for C&C Yachts. Beautiful lines & excellent performance. A very functional open interior layout known as Basic Layout A to all you oldtimers out there. V berth, head with locker opposite, salon with opposing settees & U shaped galley with large quarterberth & nav station opposite. Good headroom & wonderful teak joinery throughout. Checkmate has had most of the inventory heavy lifting done already. New engine, sails, deck hardware, electronics, solar, deck re-finishing & much more have all been done in the last 10 years. Well equipped for cruising. Great Lakes sailed only.
