The HA 7 is a characterful and beautifully designed Lemsteraak, crafted by Martin Bekebrede and built at SRF. This vessel harmoniously combines traditional aesthetics, practical usability, and modern comfort.
The HA 7 features a practical layout with 6 sleeping places and a headroom that varies from approximately 160 to 180 cm. Thanks to excellent insulation, a hydraulic mast lowering system, and thermopane glazing, this boat is highly suitable for an extended sailing season and areas with limited vertical clearance. For cooler days, the cozy Dickenson diesel heater provides pleasant warmth. The heater is economical in use and operates almost silently.
Technically, the HA 7 has undergone extensive upgrades in recent years. A comprehensive refit took place in 2024 and 2025, during which the painting, electrical installation, rigging, wooden components, and various technical parts were addressed and renewed. The sails from Baltic Sails date back to 2003 and are still in good condition.
Refit and upgrades 2024/2025: • Hull and deck repainted in 2024 with a two-component paint system • New electrical system with battery charger, inverter, and automatic 230V switching • New solar panels with Victron SmartSolar MPPT and Battery Sense • Batteries renewed in 2024/2025 • Two new cockpit tents and new covers • New winter cover • New sail covers • New bilge pumps • Anchor winch sandblasted and repowder-coated • New plastic blocks • Mast completely stripped/varnished with a new masthead fitted • Centerboards, jib boom, and rudder stripped and repainted/varnished • New drinking water filtration system • Diesel tank cleaned preventively • Upholstery renewed • Thrust bearings, propeller shaft bearings, and engine mounts renewed • Exhaust insulated • All windows and prisms resealed • Overboard shut-off valves renewed • Lighting fully converted to LED
Additionally, the HA 7 is equipped with a B&G navigation system, VHF radio, AIS transponder, and NMEA network.
Alongside these recent investments, the HA 7 boasts various practical features. The vessel is outfitted with a hydraulic mast lowering system, rigging winches, a Smev oven, and a waste water tank. The tanks are fitted with sight glasses.
The combination of Martin Bekebrede's design, SRF's build quality, the practical layout, and recent investments make the HA 7 a very complete Lemsteraak. A ship ready for long voyages and an extended sailing season. Furthermore, the HA 7 is a fast sailor that is easy to handle.
