Koopmans 48 Centerboard with Pilothouse

Built by Folmer – Rijs | Design Dick Koopmans

This Koopmans 48 Centerboard is an exceptional sailing yacht for lovers of classic lines, uncompromising seaworthiness, and proven Dutch quality. Built by Folmer in Rijs, this ship guarantees solid construction, craftsmanship, and a timeless appearance.

The design by Dick Koopmans combines comfort and safety with excellent sailing characteristics. Thanks to the centerboard, this yacht is extraordinarily versatile: comfortable at sea, stable on open water, and suitable for shallower navigation areas such as the Wadden Sea and Frisian lakes.

The characteristic pilothouse makes this Koopmans 48 particularly suitable for longer journeys and all seasons. Sheltered steering, excellent visibility all around, and a safe workspace make this ship ideal for both solo sailors and families. Even in less favorable weather, sailing remains relaxed and safe.

Below, you will find a cozy, classic interior with plenty of wood, solid paneling, and a practical layout. The space on board feels solid and familiar – just as you would expect from a yacht in this class. Long stays on board are no problem: this ship is built for living in.

This Koopmans 48 is particularly suitable for:
