This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 24.2 from 1999 is a compact and versatile sailboat that offers a surprising amount of space and sailing pleasure within her 7.30 meter length. Thanks to her uncluttered size, she is easy to sail and maneuver, while the cabin offers enough comfort to spend several days on board.

With a draught of only 1.10 meters, the sailing area is particularly large. Shallow Frisian lakes and smaller ports are therefore easily accessible. The tiller steering and the relatively low weight of approximately 1,650 kg also make her a handy ship.

For propulsion, the Jeanneau is equipped with a Yamaha F8 BEL 8 hp outboard motor with electric remote control. On board are also a Furlex furling reefing system, mainsail, furling headsail, asymmetrical spinnaker, spinnaker boom, Windex, compass, log and VHF radio.

Comfort has also been thought of. For example, the ship has a Coolmatic refrigerator, automatic pressurized water system, underwater toilet, shore power connection with Victron system and a 220V socket in the cabin. The teak benches in the cockpit also give the whole a neat nautical look.

With its compact dimensions, shallow draft and complete equipment, this Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 24.2 is an interesting choice for both novice and experienced sailors who are looking for an easy-to-handle vessel for day trips, weekends and holidays on inland waterways and sheltered coastal waters.

In short: a nice and complete Jeanneau with many possibilities, a shallow draft and a surprising amount of boat within a compact size.
