Afternoon Delight is an elegant day sailer / daysailer sailboat and showcases the timeless beauty of this Carl Schumacher design, which sailors instinctively pause to admire.

Built by Pearson Composites using the SCRIMP vacuum infusion resin system, the Alerion Express 28 delivers outstanding sailing performance while maintaining exceptional build quality. It is specifically designed for easy single-handed sailing, making it an ideal single-handed sailboat and weekend cruiser.

The fin keel and spade rudder provide excellent maneuverability and stability. The Hoyt jib pivoting boom system offers self-tacking convenience and strong off-wind performance. Powered by a reliable 14-hp Yanmar diesel saildrive, this beautifully balanced yacht sets the standard for an ideal day sailer and coastal cruiser, perfect for quick trips and island getaways.

A full winter cover keeps the vessel in pristine condition, protecting it during off-season storage.

Also included is a half summer cover from mast to aft.
