Remarks
Acquired in Spain in June 2019, our Moody 47 “Mar de viento” was originally chosen for its proven ability to cross oceans. However, captivated by the Mediterranean, we have spent the last seven seasons sailing five months a year, extensively exploring the Balearics and sailing from Gibraltar to Sardinia and Corsica.
It has proven to be an exceptionally solid, safe, and comfortable bluewater cruiser. Easy to handle with a reduced crew, it accommodates 4 to 6 guests with total comfort, effortlessly reaching an average speed of 6 to 10 knots and making 200-mile crossings daily.
The Mar de Viento has given us unforgettable memories, but as we begin a new chapter, it is time to hand it over to new owners who will appreciate it as much as we have. Fully equipped and meticulously maintained, it is ready for its next great adventure.
