Privately Owned - Exceptionally Specified Example Delivered by Azimut Yachts and completed during the 2023 production year, this Azimut Fly 53 was commissioned in April 2024 through the brand's authorised Italian dealer. She has remained in the hands of her original owner since new and has never been chartered, serving exclusively for private family cruising. Across two seasons of ownership, the yacht has logged approximately 162 engine hours, representing the equivalent of around one month of use per year. She is currently stored ashore in Bodrum, Turkey, where she is professionally maintained, presented in sound condition throughout, and available for immediate inspection. Among yachts in the 50–55-foot flybridge segment, Alberto Mancini's Fly 53 is widely regarded as one of the most successful modern designs. Her hull features a relatively fine forward entry combined with a generous beam carried well aft, creating both impressive internal volume and excellent stability when at anchor. Unlike many competitors, the flybridge offers genuinely practical living space, while the separate crew cabin provides a level of operational independence rarely found on yachts of this size. Whether cruising as a couple, entertaining guests, or undertaking extended family trips with crew, the layout remains equally effective. The defining characteristic of this particular vessel is the extraordinary level of factory and dealer-installed equipment. Approximately €720,000 was invested in optional extras above the standard specification, bringing the total original build cost to around €1,915,000. Among the most valuable additions is the Volvo Penta Assisted Docking System with Dynamic Positioning, integrated with the bow thruster, a highly desirable option that significantly simplifies manoeuvring in confined marinas. The yacht also benefits from teak decking throughout the cockpit, flybridge, side decks and bathing platform, together with a comprehensive Garmin Gold navigation suite, Hikvision 9-camera remote security system, Idromar four-membrane watermaker, 20 kW generator, hydraulic passerelle and an AB 290 jet tender supplied fully equipped. The tender has completed only one season of use. Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS 950 engines producing 533 kW (725 hp) each. The yacht cruises comfortably at approximately 26 knots, reaches around 31 knots at maximum speed, and offers an estimated cruising range of about 260 nautical miles. Accommodation comprises three guest cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite, while a separate crew cabin with its own shower and WC allows complete independence for crew operations. This Fly 53 has never entered charter service and has been specified with carefully selected equipment rather than simply standard option packages. The Volvo Dynamic Positioning docking system is particularly noteworthy, as it remains one of the most sought-after features by buyers while being absent from many comparable yachts. Ordering a new Fly 53 today with an equivalent specification would require a budget exceeding €1.9 million together with a production and delivery period of at least twelve months. This yacht is immediately available, has already absorbed its initial depreciation and includes more than €720,000 worth of factory options that a new owner would otherwise need to order separately and wait to receive. Taken as a whole, she represents excellent value within today's market.
