Open To Offers on the Asking PriceHeliOx is more than a Dutch Barge. She offers a live aboard lifestyle that is not found on most barges. The original steel hull was constructed in the Netherlands in 1911. She was used for hauling creosote throughout the Netherlands at the height of her working life. HeliOx’s new life as a live aboard luxury Luxemotor began in 2007 when she was commissioned by the previous owners to be fitted with a new steel superstructure. The design and fabrication were carried out to a very high standard in the Netherlands and completed in 2008.Updates have been made continuously over the past 10 years to present to you today this stunning home for some very special people. HeliOx has been modified with state-of-the-art solar power and a water filtration system that allows for off grid living and mooring in pristine areas of beauty and privacy that are not afforded to most boats on the canals and rivers in Europe today. The interior of HeliOx has been embellished with a designer’s flare and must be seen to be appreciated. The absolute best feature of HeliOx is the outdoor living space on the aft deck. The very large wheelhouse has double doors opening out to the luxurious living area on the aft deck where most of your hours of daylight will be spent in the cruising season. HeliOx has cruised all the major rivers and canals in Europe with ease, including the historic and beautiful Canal du Midi. From Bordeaux to Stasbourg, Paris to Avignon, Holland, Germany, Belgium and Luxemburg and crossed the English Channel and onto the River Thames. She has been a delight to captain and live aboard. As our European experience comes to a close, her new owners are out there waiting for their own “la vie est belle” adventure. HeliOx is designed for luxury cruising but would afford anyone luxurious apartment living on a permanent mooring in any vibrant urban European city such as Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin etc.General InformationType: Dutch BargeModel: LuxemotorBuilder: AangebrachtFit-out: Professional fit-out (Boat yard, Netherlands)Plating Specification: Steel Hull & Super StructureInsulation: RockwoolNumber of Berths: TwoNumber of Cabins: ThreeCanopies: Stern Tonneau CoverRecent WorksBoat Safety Certificate Expiry Date: 06/08/2028Last Blacking: 2019Last Engine Service: April 2026Last Survey: 28/08/2019Additional WorksGenerator serviced April 2026New Baxi Combination Boiler (Diesel) fitted February 2024New Leisure batteries installed April 20241200 watts of solar panels installed on the wheelhouse roomEngine SpecificationMake & Model: DAF DKA 1160-MHP: 177HP/132KWNumber of Cylinders: 6Cooling Type: Keel cooledGear Box Make: HydromaticDiesel Tank Capacity (L): 3000Year: 2008Bow Thruster: Yes (Vetus 24V)Stern Thruster: NoHot Water & Heating SystemsSource of Hot Water: Baxi Combination Boiler (Diesel) New installed February 2024Water filtration system installedCentral Heating: Baxi Combination Boiler (Diesel)80L Hot Water Heater located in engine roomWater Tank Capacity (L): 3000LElectrical Systems & Components24v:240v Landline / Single or 3 phaseInverter: Mastervolt Combimaster 24V/2000VA-40AGenerator: Mastervolt 8KVA Whisper Marine generator fitted with Mastervolt Delta water exhaust gas separator (Hospital Silencer)Batteries: Leisure batteries 4 x 12V -230AH / 2 x 12v 230AH for Bow ThrusterEM Trak A100 Class A A13NaviCom RT750 VHF Fixed Radio +2 Hand Held VHF Radios22 inch PC monitor/TVInteriorMaster Cabin:Dimensions: Length 2.68m Width 2.62m Head height 2.05mDouble (European Super King)Head Type:Full size L shaped Bath with shower & spaGalley:Fridge / Freezer full size 4 starCombined built in Whirlpool Oven/Grill/MicrowaveHob: Bosch InductionWashing Machine: Electrolux 7KG Auto Wash & DryDishwasher: BoschL ShapedWalk ThroughGranite WorktopsSaloon / Galley:Dimensions: Length 5.6m (18.37Ft) x Width 3.66m (12Ft) Head Height 2.05m (6.7Ft)L Shape: Custom built Italian made sectional sofaTV: Samsung 1m Smart TV c/w with Samsung sound boxArm Chairs x 1Wheelhouse:Dimensions: Length 4.4m (14.7Ft) x Width 2.53m (8.3Ft) x Head Height 2m (6.6Ft)Double Sofa BedHelm: Length 1m x Width 1.86mAft DeckDimensions: Length 3.98m x Width 3.74mOutback gas BBQTeak oval foldable table on adjustable pedestal4 wicker chairs
