STELLA NOVA is a 27.4m classic displacement motor yacht, originally built by Schiffswerft (Hameln) in 1971 and extensively refitted in 2006. Combining robust German engineering with timeless lines, she offers a rare opportunity to acquire a steel-hulled yacht with charm, character, and reliable cruising performance.
Built to Germanischen Lloyd classification and currently lying in Sweden, STELLA NOVA is powered by twin Scania V8 diesel engines (deregulated to 450hp) offering a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 18 knots. With a full displacement hull and 8,000L fuel capacity, she is ideally suited for long-range exploration in comfort and safety.
Her five-cabin layout accommodates up to 10 guests, including a full-beam master with en-suite bath, plus four additional double cabins each with bunks—making her ideal for families or larger groups. The yacht also sleeps 4 crew. Interior features include a spacious main salon with Sony Bravia AV systems, a large galley, sauna, and central heating system with fresh air circulation and dehumidification.
With teak decks, aluminium superstructure, twin rudders, and extensive safety gear including Viking life rafts and CO₂ systems, STELLA NOVA is a robust and seaworthy classic. Offered VAT paid and maintained to a good standard, she is an ideal candidate for further personalization or classic cruising enjoyment.
