The Enkhuizen 744 is the third model in our line of tenders. Our in-house designer has created an extremely spacious tender with an innovative interior. The characteristic features of the Enkhuizen tender are fully preserved in this new model. The robust style bow, the beautiful sheer, and the exceptionally stylish transom with integrated swim platform and high-quality finish with solid teak wood are hallmarks of the Enkhuizen sloop tender line that are clearly manifested in the Enkhuizen 744 Tender.

The hull shape of the 744 invites sailing in a very wide range of sailing areas. Due to the shallow draft and the clever way the hull releases the water, the boat creates little wake in shallow water. A boat that respects shores and other water sports enthusiasts. On larger waters, high speeds can be achieved, even with minimal engine power, as the hull quickly planes. The integrated spray rails deflect the spray, ensuring that passengers stay dry even at high speeds. In short, a boat that can cover great distances in a short time and in complete comfort.

The 744 will be equipped with a robust and safe electrical system so that all modern aids can be integrated reliably. The boat offers enough space for 8 people to make a long journey. And of course, the 744 can be equipped with all the amenities that make a trip truly enjoyable. There is space for installing a spacious refrigerator, a wine cooler, cooking facilities, washing facilities, wardrobe space, a double bed, and of course a toilet facility.

Characteristic of the interior of an Enkhuizen sloop is the way extra accessories are concealed. Using high-quality teak wood, they are integrated into the interior in a way that makes them virtually invisible at first glance, keeping the space spacious, organized, and safe. In the interior of the 744, we have raised the bar even higher. The forepeak is directly accessible from the cockpit. It can be equipped with a permanent, lockable toilet facility, storage space for, for example, rain gear, or as traditional storage space. Access to the forepeak is located behind the front bench. This bench normally offers a generous seating area. By removing the back cushion and opening the door, the forepeak becomes easily accessible even for larger individuals. If you are not using the forepeak, the access is concealed behind the cushions of the bench.

On the aft deck, we have incorporated two innovations. The first is a "fender hatch." This hatch is located at the top of the aft deck, directly behind the helmsman, and provides space for storing fenders and lines. This way, they are always quickly at hand, while the cockpit remains spacious and safe. The second innovation consists of a passage to the swim platform. Normally, the transom is closed, so that even a following wave cannot create unsafe situations. In the transom, there is a door that, when opened, provides a spacious passage from the cockpit to the swim platform. Safe, comfortable, and virtually invisible when not in use.

Just like every Enkhuizen sloop, special attention has been paid to a safe environment in the 744. Of course, all our boats meet CE standards, but it doesn't stop there. Safety is not only determined by a design category. Safety plays a significant role during the normal use of the boat. The 744 is equipped with a large number of standard safety-enhancing features. For example, the fenders are attached to the boat via an ingenious click system. These snap-on deck eyes ensure that your fender always hangs at the right height, that no ropes dangle loosely in the cockpit, and that you can attach it quickly.

A well-organized interior with easily accessible storage space and concealed accessories ensures that no loose items need to be left lying around in the cockpit. The floor of the 744 is laid at two levels: the helmsman sits high, the passengers lower. This way, the helmsman maintains an optimal view of the sailing area even with a full cockpit.

The Enkhuizen 744 has wide boarding steps with good, sturdy support options. And because we build every Enkhuizen sloop by hand for you, we can install an extra boarding aid if desired. This makes not only sailing but also getting in and out safer.
