BRAND NEW 45ft x 10ft WIDEBEAMExceptional Specification • Hand-Finished • Available Now!!This brand-new Widebeam built with experience, and attention to detail with a genuine passion for boatbuilding. We are delighted to offer this beautiful 45ft x 10ft Widebeam, available to purchase now and completed to an exceptionally high specification. This isn’t a mass-produced boat.At DB Marine, we have been building boats since 1994, and since taking over Goole Marina in 2021, our focus has expanded considerably, but we have never lost our passion for building boats.Today, we deliberately build just one new boat each year. This allows us to put our whole heart into each build. There is no production line and no rush to get the next boat started. Instead, we concentrate on producing one exceptional boat, paying attention to everything from the engineering and onboard systems to the cabinetry, finishes and smallest details. Our aim is simple: to build a boat that we are genuinely proud to put our name to.Quality from the hull upwardsA high-quality fit-out deserves an equally high-quality foundation. The steel shell for this Widebeam was professionally constructed by the highly regarded XR&D Boatbuilders of Newark, before coming to DB Marine for its complete fit-out and finishing. The exterior has received a Professional Jotun Two-Pack Paint SystemThe quality of this boat extends far beyond the interior fit-out. Considerable attention has also been given to protecting and finishing the steelwork using a professional multi-stage Jotun two-pack coating system. The steelwork has been protected using Jotun Jotamastic 90, a high-build two-component epoxy mastic coating specifically designed to provide long-lasting protection in highly corrosive environments. This is followed by Jotun MegaPrimer, a two-component epoxy primer providing an excellent foundation and adhesion for the finishing coats. The exterior is then finished in premium Jotun MegaGloss AC, a two-component acrylic polyurethane topcoat providing an exceptionally high-gloss finish together with excellent gloss and colour retention and high abrasion resistance.Rather than simply choosing a paint system for appearance, we have selected a professional Jotun coating system designed to provide both long-term protection of the steelwork and a premium yacht-quality finish. It is another example of an area where the quality may not immediately be obvious when viewing photographs of the boat, but one that we believe is extremely important to its long-term ownership. This isn’t simply about producing a beautiful finish on the day the boat leaves us. The choice of coating systems reflects our philosophy of building for longevity and protecting the considerable investment being made by the boat’s new owner.Power & manoeuvrabilityAt the heart of the boat is a Vetus M4.45 42hp diesel engine, providing dependable propulsion ideally suited to inland waterways cruising. For easy manoeuvring, particularly when entering locks, marinas and confined moorings, we have fitted a Vetus BOW PRO 57 kgf brushless bow thruster. The BOW PRO system offers smooth, proportional control rather than simply being an on/off thruster, making close-quarters manoeuvring considerably more controlled.A serious electrical systemThe electrical installation has been designed around equipment from Victron Energy, giving the owner a modern, high-quality onboard power and monitoring system. At its heart is a Victron MultiPlus-II 3000W inverter/charger, providing a 240 volt mains power from the battery bank when away from shore power as well as intelligent battery charging when connected. This is complemented by a Victron Cerbo GX with GX Touch 70 display, bringing system information together through an easy-to-use touchscreen interface.A Victron solar charging system and solar panel to further support the onboard electrical system, helping maintain the batteries and reducing reliance on shore power when cruising or spending time away from a marina. It’s the type of electrical installation we believe a modern Widebeam should have.Heating designed for year-round enjoymentThis is a boat intended to be enjoyed throughout the year, not just during the summer months.Heating is provided by a Webasto Thermo Top Evo 5kW diesel-fired central heating system, feeding stylish anthracite radiators throughout the accommodation. For those colder winter evenings, we’ve also installed an Arada Hamlet Compact 4kW solid-fuel stove, providing both additional warmth and the atmosphere that only a real stove can bring to a boat.Hot water is stored within a generous Surecal 75-litre twin-coil calorifier, providing a practical hot-water supply for everyday use aboard.Double glazing throughoutQuality Caldwell double-glazed windows have been fitted, helping to improve thermal efficiency, comfort and noise insulation.Combined with the Webasto central heating and solid-fuel stove, this helps make the boat a genuinely comfortable environment throughout the seasons. Two toilet facilitiesOne particularly useful feature aboard this 45ft Widebeam is the provision of two separate toilet systems. The main bathroom is equipped with a Vetus WCS macerating toilet, while a separate en-suite/day toilet incorporates a Thetford cassette toilet with china flushing bowl.Having both systems gives the owner additional flexibility and practicality, particularly for extended cruising, guests or longer periods aboard.Built to be lived with, not simply looked atThroughout the boat we’ve tried to think beyond what looks good in photographs.Every decision has been made with actual ownership in mind – reliability, accessibility, maintenance, comfort and how the boat will perform several years from now. That’s why you’ll find respected equipment from manufacturers including Vetus, Victron, Webasto, Caldwell, Surecal and Arada rather than equipment selected simply to reduce the build cost.We believe a high-specification boat should be high specification behind the panels as well as in front of them. And our involvement doesn’t end when you buy itThis is perhaps one of the biggest differences when buying a DB Marine boat.DB Marine has been building boats since 1994, and since 2021 we have operated from Goole Marina. That means the company that built and commissioned your boat isn’t going to disappear after the handover. We have the marina facilities, workshops, experience and infrastructure to continue looking after the boat for years to come – whether that’s servicing, maintenance, modifications, upgrades or simply advice when you need it.We want the new owner to have confidence not only in the boat they’re buying today, but also in the people standing behind it tomorrow.ONE BOAT. ONCE A YEAR.We could build more boats. We choose not to.By building only one new boat each year, we can give that boat the time and individual attention we believe a quality build deserves. This 45ft x 10ft Widebeam represents that philosophy: over 30 years of boatbuilding experience, an XR&D-built steel shell, carefully selected equipment, a high-class DB Marine fit-out and the long-term backing of Goole Marina. And importantly, there is no lengthy build slot or waiting list – this boat is completed and available to purchase now.If you’re considering a new Widebeam, we’d much rather you came and looked at the boat than simply took our word for it.Come aboard. Open the cupboards. Look behind the panels. Examine the engineering and the finish.Take your time and look at the details. We believe the quality will speak for itself.Principal SpecificationDimensions: 45ft x 10ftCondition: Brand newSteelwork: XR&D Boatbuilders, NewarkFit-out: DB MarineEngine: Vetus M4.45 – 42hpBow Thruster: Vetus BOW PRO – 57 kgf brushless proportional systemWindows: Caldwell double glazedCentral Heating: Webasto Thermo Top Evo – 5kWRadiators: Anthracite finishSolid Fuel Stove: Arada Hamlet Compact – 4kWHot Water: Surecal 75-litre twin-coil calorifierMain Toilet: Vetus WCS macerating toiletEn-suite/Day Toilet: Thetford cassette toilet with china flushing bowlInverter/Charger: Victron MultiPlus-II – 3000WSystem Monitoring: Victron Cerbo GX with GX Touch 70 displaySolar: Victron solar charging system and panelsHull Protection: Two-pack epoxy coating systemTopcoat: Jotun MegaGloss AC UV-resistant two-pack paint systemAvailability: Completed and available nowLocation: Goole Marina
