BE THE FIRST is a fully customised 2016 Alibi 54 catamaran, built at the Alibi shipyard in Thailand and completed in France under the guidance of the founder and naval architect Loïc Goepfert. Engineered to be the lightest Alibi 54 ever built, she pairs true off-grid bluewater cruising with genuine sailing performance.

Her epoxy-infused E-glass and Divinycell foam hull is complemented by extensive use of carbon throughout the structure, the A-frame bowsprit and the superstructure. A rotating carbon mast, 3 m asymmetrical carbon daggerboards with electric control, retractable carbon rudder blades and a retractable drive system reduce drag, with reported speeds of up to 27 knots. On deck, two pivoting helm stations keep the winches and running rigging within easy reach, while a teak cockpit with a retractable table opens onto the saloon through carbon and glass sliding doors.

Inside, Burmese teak and a chalked oak cabin sole set the tone. The port galley is fully equipped, and the owner's suite occupies the starboard hull, with a guest cabin and a bunk cabin to port. Mastervolt lithium batteries, solar panels, a watermaker and a back-up generator allow autonomous living at anchor, with air conditioning, a washing machine and a dive compressor on board.
