What really sets this yacht apart is the amount of updating that's already been carried out. The standing rigging was replaced in 2022, the saildrive diaphragm renewed in 2023, and she benefits from new Saturn mainsail and furling genoa fitted in 2025. The rudder was replaced in 2022 and there have been continual upgrades to safety and navigation equipment, reflecting the fact that she remains commercially coded until April 2027.

On deck, the large cockpit provides plenty of room for both sailing and entertaining. Together with the electric windlass, substantial ground tackle, recent dinghy and Honda outboard, she is very much equipped with practical cruising in mind.

Hanse's reputation for straightforward short-handed sailing is well deserved, with all controls easily managed from the cockpit.

Powered by a Yanmar 40hp diesel with approximately 2,076 recorded hours, she appears to have been regularly maintained, with the most recent engine service completed in December 2025 and antifouling carried out in February 2026.

Overall, this is a very appealing example of the popular Hanse 400e. Well equipped, regularly updated and presented with cruising in mind, she offers a great opportunity to acquire a proven offshore cruising yacht with many of the larger maintenance items already taken care of. The combination of recent sails, replacement rigging, coding compliance and that excellent cockpit living space should make her particularly attractive to buyers seeking a yacht that is ready to step aboard and enjoy.
