The 148' 6" MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 aluminium Superyacht is one of the newest additions to Mangusta’s GranSport line, combining innovation, luxury, space, performance and efficiency. Very much in Mangusta’s DNA, this fast displacement motor yacht boasts sleek lines, speed, long range and comfort. While she looks sporty, she can cross the Atlantic Ocean and explore uncluttered anchorages.Exterior designer Alberto Mancini is spot on with his interpretation of Mangusta’s sleek, muscular and aerodynamic lines and offers a top speed of 26 knots, a comfortable cruise speed of 20 knots and during the night you can choose to navigate at 8 knots with the water-jet in complete silence. The performance is a combination of smart hull design by Pierluigi Ausonio, creating a semi-displacement aluminium hull that allows a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots, yet is safe and exhilarating with the throttle down. It’s a bulb-keel hull that cuts through the sea surface without planing. But maintaining the displacement mode even at high speed requires dynamic lift to control the longitudinal trim. Plenty of power is provided with triple 2600 Hp MTU Diesel engines. Two of her engines drive standard prop shafts, the third, on the centreline, powers an innovative KaMeWa water-jet pod, which can be used as a booster, for fine manoeuvring or stealthy cruising.Splitting the power across three engines makes for smaller propellers and thus lower draught; at 2.2 metres it allows this boat to creep into the shallows of the Bahamas, for example. But as skipperThe MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 interprets luxury as offering simple, uncluttered spaces aboard thanks to her impressive 444 GT volume. One of the first things that strikes you when you see the boat is her extensive teak-decked outdoors spaces. To stern, a 75-square-metre beach club cantilevers off the transom and extends well inside the boat, down a couple of steps into an area that has the wood-lined feeling of her spa. There’s a transformer platform and two fold-down side terraces.Up on the aft deck, the sense of space grows. Here another 75-square-metre expanse of teak is scattered with a designer sunbed. The effect is understated and elegant, but really what hits you is the room. The upper deck terrace, which features a jacuzzi, wet bar, grill and dining table. Combine that with the spa pool and infinity pool forward and you have an astonishingly large area for outside living. Each of these different spaces are fitted with Multiplex carbon bimini poles and, on this yacht, a matching grey awning can be extended over the pool. And from the garage hidden under the pool, it is possible to launch the five-metre Williams Dieseljet in three minutes without creating so much as a ripple above. The 45 does everything it can to encourage you outdoors.Accommodating up to 11 guests in 5 staterooms, the full-beam main deck Owner’s cabin with automatic fold-down balcony is also a main feature. This Owner’s suite also harbours an open-plan bathroom that runs the full beam under the pool, and Mangusta has made the most of this by fitting skylights in the pool bottom. Four guest cabins are found on the lower deck with two double VIPs, a triple and a twin with bunkbeds.Nowhere is the sporty character of this boat clearer than in the spaceship-like wheelhouse, with double-stitched black leather seating, backlit stripes and carbon fibre windscreen mullions. This MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 Superyacht for sale is found in impeccable condition after her last warranty works at the Mangusta facility in Italy – Viewings are highly encouraged.KEY FEATURES Fast displacement twin screw luxury Superyacht yacht with central waterjet booster Built in Aluminium Custom paint Zero speed stabilizers Up to 11 Guests in 5 lavish staterooms Automatic opening balcony in Owner’s main deck stateroom Forward deck pool + sundeck Jacuzzi Lateral launching starboard tender garage Stern beach club with opening balconies, relaxation area, gym and sauna Built, compliant and ready for charter Mint conditionMAIN CHARACTERISTICS Builder: Overmarine Mangusta Group S.p.A.
